Privacy policy
This page covers the ScorePlex app, the website and its waitlist. Updated 30 October 2026.
Who we are
ScorePlex is made by Ivan Bilchenko in Ukraine. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
The app
The app works without an account. On first launch it registers the install with our server and gets an anonymous ID; we do not know who you are.
- What you set up: the matches, teams and competitions you follow with their alerts, and your alert rules.
- For notifications: the push token Apple gives the app, and the tokens of Live Activities on your lock screen.
- Telegram, if you connect it: the chat ID and your Telegram username or name, to send your rule alerts there.
- ScorePlex PRO, if you subscribe: which plan the install bought, when it renews or ends, and the App Store's record of the purchase, kept under the install's anonymous ID. Apple takes the payment; we never see your card or Apple Account.
- Settings of the install: its language, time zone and app version, so that alerts come in your language and on time.
- Crash reports: when the app crashes or freezes, a report of what went wrong and on which device model and iOS version. It holds no IP address, nothing that identifies you and no screenshots.
The app runs no analytics or advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Why
Only to give you what you asked for: alerts for what you follow and when your rules hold, and to fix crashes. The legal basis is the performance of the service you use (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in an app that works (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who else handles it
Apple delivers push notifications and Live Activities. Telegram delivers rule alerts if you connect it. Sentry (Functional Software, servers in Germany) keeps crash reports for up to 90 days. RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) checks PRO purchases with the App Store and tells our server whether PRO is active; transfers to the USA rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Our server and backups are described below. Each acts only on our instructions or, for Apple and Telegram, only to deliver the message.
How long, and deleting it
As long as you use the app. In the app, About → Delete my data erases everything above from our server at once; deleting the app alone does not. Disconnecting Telegram, or sending /stop to the bot, removes the chat right away. Deleting your data does not cancel a PRO subscription: cancel it in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. To have the purchase records at RevenueCat erased as well, write to us.
The website and the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Your answers in the form: the sports you follow and whether you would pay for smart alerts.
- The language of the page and the site or campaign that brought you here.
- When you signed up.
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts.
We use them to tell you when the beta opens and when the app launches, and to count the answers so we can decide what to build. We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection"). We keep them until 12 months after the app launches, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
We have not sent any emails yet. The service we use to send them will be listed here before the first one, and every email will have a link to unsubscribe.
Where it is kept
On our server in Helsinki, Finland (Hetzner Online), with encrypted backups in Cloudflare R2. The app, the site and the form reach it through Cloudflare, which protects them from attacks. Both act only on our instructions. Deleted data leaves our backups within 7 days.
We never sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Ukraine, that is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
